Why Pelangi

What Makes the Difference

Pelangi is not a financial advisory firm. It is an education practice — a place where adults can think through their money without pressure or sales.

No Sales, No Commissions

Pelangi does not sell financial products and does not earn commissions. You are paying only for time, structure and honest guidance.

Small Groups by Design

Groups are kept small on purpose. There is enough room for every participant to ask the question that has been sitting quietly at the back of their mind.

Plain Language Throughout

Financial jargon is not the point here. Topics are explained the way a knowledgeable friend would explain them — clearly and without condescension.

Singapore-Specific Context

Every session is grounded in the Singapore financial landscape — CPF, SGS bonds, MAS-regulated products, and the particular character of household finances in this city.

Designed for Adults 40+

Participants arrive with decades of life and work behind them. Programmes are shaped for people who have real assets, real commitments and real questions — not starter conversations.

Written Materials Included

Printed handbooks and session summaries mean you leave each programme with something you can return to at your own pace, without needing to take notes under pressure.

Take Your Time

You Do Not Have to Figure This Out Alone

Many of the questions adults carry about money are reasonable and answerable. Pelangi is a place to work through them carefully, with people who have looked at these questions across many households and many years.

Questions

Things People Often Ask

Do I need to have any financial knowledge before joining? +
No. Programmes are designed for adults who are thoughtful but not necessarily trained in finance. The Open Verandah Money Talks, in particular, begins with a settling-in conversation to understand where each participant is starting from.
Will I be given specific investment advice? +
Pelangi is an education practice, not a financial advisory firm. Sessions are about understanding how different instruments and decisions work — not telling you what to buy or sell. You remain in charge of your own choices.
How many people are in each group? +
The Open Verandah Money Talks are kept to around ten to twelve participants. The Rattan Investor Course takes a maximum of fourteen, with two facilitators present. The Quiet Garden Track is by definition private — just your household.
Can my spouse or partner join me? +
Yes. For the group programmes, a second place needs to be booked separately. For the Quiet Garden Track, the programme is built around the household, so a spouse or partner is a natural part of the conversation.
Where do sessions take place? +
Group sessions are held at a small seminar villa with a garden aspect on Beach Road. Bespoke sessions take place in a private seminar room at the same address: 168 Beach Road, #21-07, Singapore 189744.
What is included in the programme fee? +
For the Money Talks group, refreshments and a printed handbook are included. For the Rattan Investor Course, printed session notes are included. The Quiet Garden Track includes a written summary after each session. All fees cover the full number of sessions in that programme.
