We offer structured learning programmes for adults in their forties and fifties who wish to develop a clearer understanding of household financial matters.
When this policy refers to "Pelangi", "we", "us" or "our", it means the practice described above. When it refers to "you" or "your", it means the individual whose personal data is being collected or processed.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as data about health, financial account numbers, identity card numbers or biometric data through our website or standard enrolment process. Where a bespoke programme involves discussion of household financial circumstances, any notes are held with additional care and are not shared.

- When you enrol in a programme and complete the associated registration
- During sessions, in the form of notes taken by our facilitators (for bespoke programmes only, and only where agreed)

- To prepare written session summaries for bespoke programme participants

- To send you occasional information about forthcoming programmes, where you have indicated you are willing to receive this
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it, using aggregated and anonymised data
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We may share personal data in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who assist us in operating our website, processing payments or sending communications — these providers are required to handle data only in accordance with our instructions

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Enquiry records are retained for up to twelve months. Enrolment and payment records are retained for seven years in accordance with our financial record-keeping obligations. Written session summaries prepared for bespoke programme participants are retained for three years following the conclusion of the programme, after which they are securely destroyed unless you request earlier deletion.
7. Your Rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Withdraw consent to the use of your personal data for specific purposes, where processing is based on consent
