1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with Pelangi ("we", "us", "our") when you submit an enquiry, register for a programme or attend sessions. By submitting an enquiry form or completing a registration, you indicate that you have read and accepted these Terms.
Pelangi's principal place of business is 168 Beach Road, #21-07, Singapore 189744. You can reach us by email at [email protected] or by telephone at +65 6947 2530.
2. Our Programmes
Pelangi currently offers three programmes:
- Open Verandah Money Talks â a four-session group programme, priced at SGD 210 per participant
- The Rattan Investor Course â a nine-week course, priced at SGD 490 per participant
- The Quiet Garden Track â a six-session bespoke programme for households, priced at SGD 730
Programme details, session structures and schedules are described on our website and in the programme handbook provided upon enrolment. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to programme content to reflect updated information or the needs of a particular cohort.
3. Enrolment
Enrolment in a programme is confirmed when we have received your completed registration and full payment. Places in cohort-based programmes are allocated on a first-come basis. We will confirm your place by email within two business days of receiving your registration and payment.
For the Rattan Investor Course, cohort size is limited to fourteen participants. If a cohort is full at the time you register, we will invite you to join a waiting list or register for a future cohort.
For the Quiet Garden Track, we will contact you within three business days of receiving your enquiry to arrange an initial conversation and agree on session dates.
4. Payment
Programme fees are payable in full at the time of registration. We accept payment by bank transfer to the account details provided in the registration confirmation. Fees are quoted in Singapore dollars and are inclusive of any applicable goods and services tax.
We will issue a receipt by email once payment has been received and cleared.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than fourteen days before the first session: full refund, less a SGD 20 administrative charge
- Seven to fourteen days before the first session: fifty percent refund
- Less than seven days before the first session, or after the programme has begun: no refund, though we will where possible offer a transfer to a future cohort
To request a cancellation, please write to [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within ten business days of the cancellation being confirmed.
If Pelangi is unable to proceed with a scheduled programme for any reason, we will offer participants a full refund or a transfer to a future cohort. We are not liable for any other costs you may have incurred in connection with attendance.
6. Conduct During Sessions
Our sessions are designed to be calm, respectful and welcoming. We ask that all participants:
- Arrive on time and remain for the full duration of each session where possible
- Respect the confidentiality of what other participants share during group discussions
- Engage with facilitators and other participants in a considerate manner
- Refrain from recording sessions without the prior written consent of all participants and facilitators
Pelangi reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a programme if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
7. Nature of Our Programmes
Pelangi's programmes are financial education programmes. They are designed to help participants understand financial concepts and develop the capacity to make their own informed decisions. They are not financial advice, investment advice or any other form of regulated financial service.
Nothing said or written by our facilitators during a programme, or in any written summary we provide, constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial instrument or to take any particular course of action in respect of your financial affairs. You should consult a licensed financial adviser before making financial decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during a programme, including printed handbooks, digital slides and written session summaries, remain the intellectual property of Pelangi. You may use these materials for your personal reference but may not reproduce, distribute or share them without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pelangi's liability to you in connection with any programme is limited to the fee you paid for that programme. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from your participation in or reliance on our programmes.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your enrolment is the version that applies to your programme. We will note the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page.
13. Questions
If you have any questions about these Terms, please write to us at [email protected] or call +65 6947 2530. We are happy to discuss anything that is unclear before you commit to an enrolment.
